Trey McIntyre's 10+1 Project

Yesterday I was checking up on one of my favorite dance companies, Trey McIntyre Project and I came across the announcement for the 10+1 project. The premise, is that the company gives visual artists access to dancers in the studio during class and rehearsal, the artists in turn create pieces inspired by the ten dancers and Trey (10+1), and as an end result they put on a collaborative gallery show.

To borrow Trey's words, his goal was to engage with a large group of people in a quick and meaningful way. I think this idea is so beyond brilliant. Kudos to 10+1!
